The “old-fashioned” BMW 328 Hommage 2011
In the 75th anniversary of the first 328, BMW is going to introduce the BMW 328 Mille Miglia in 2011 Hommage, Italy next week. The shape is designed using modern technology, by two German Fritz Fiedler and Rudolf Schleicher. Karl Baumer CEO Classic BMW Group, said: “With 328 Hommage, we want to express my respect and passion for the creative father of BMW 328, they have created a major turning point in the auto industry .” 2011 BMW 328 Hommage only weighs about 780kg because most exterior and interior are made of carbon fiber plastic combination. The vehicle is designed wide and low, the bonnet is made of carbon fiber and body lower side is constructed to ensure stability when operating at high speed.
